Music is essential, and it’s the process at which lots of music artists bond and relate with their supporters, hence, most artists can’t survive a year without releasing either albums or singles.
The South African music industry had a great 2021, and it’s promising to deliver this new year 2022.
Some music artists have locked themselves up in studios since December last year in other to feed fans more music.
While some promised a hit song, a few others claim they are going to have a huge comeback.
Some artists who couldn’t fulfill their promises in the previous year are making effort to put a smile on the faces of their supporters.
Below, we are going to look at music artists who are set to release albums and singles soon:
The Limpopo-born star isn’t taking a break, as she’s about dropping a hit, after releasing a bomb, Ghanama in 2021. Few days ago, she teased new songs on Facebook, and she made it known on Instagram that a new single will be dropping soon. The release date of the song is yet to be announced.
Busta will be dropping his 3rd solo album, Undisputed Vol. 3 on the 25th of February. There’s also a single from the producer dropping on that same date, and it features Zwesh SA, Wena Wedwa, Dinky Kunene and Bontle RSA.
The rapper says he’s going to have a big comeback this year, and the first music announcement he made was his debut album, titled, HeartBreak Hotel. Other details about the album is yet to be unveiled.
Ambitiouz Entertainment’s artist, Malome will be dropping an album, Karabo, in the 7th of January, 2020.
The multitalented star announced since 2021 that her first release in 2022 will be a love song, but she’s yet to disclose the release date of the song.
“In studio.. and I want to create a beautiful love song for 2022,” she said.
Asides the aforementioned music artists, there’s an increased chanced that some artists will release either a project or a single before the year runs out.
These artists are, Kabza De Small, AKA, Nadia Nakai, Cassper Nyovest, and Sha Sha (She’s been working on an album since 2021).
Even Boohle took to her Instagram stories to tease an unreleased song on Wednesday.
